Kitties

Our cat lounge is a foster home for 12-14 cats at a time that you can spend time with for kitty company, or find a potential new feline family member.

What to Expect when entering the cat lounge

We usually have a 1:1 ratio of cats to people. Meaning you can expect around 12 cats in our lounge. Please note, the cat lounge is shoe-free meaning socks or house slippers are required.

RULES

Cat lounge rules:

  1. NO outside animals (we supply the cats, please don’t bring your own!).

  2. NO shoes (or bare feet) inside the lounge (please BRING SOCKS. Or socks available for purchase). Shoes must be removed and stored under our benches before entering.

  3. To ensure the safety and happiness of our cats, we ask that you please:  Do not pick up the cats unless approved by staff. Do not feed the cats any human food. Do not use flash photography. Always use a calm, gentle voice. Let cats sleep. Open doors carefully/slowly. Supervise children closely.

  4. Cats with YELLOW COLLARS may become overstimulated  (use caution and read the cats body language)

  5. NO climbing or hanging on cat trees, our cat treadmill, cat wall shelves etc.

  6. Toys are available to play with the cats, please return them to the organizer!
